Kenneth Spranger appointed new principal of Wells Elementary

Kenneth Spranger has been appointed as the new principal of Wells Elementary School

The East Moline School District 37 Board of Education has voted unanimously to approve the appointment of Kenneth Spranger as the new principal of Wells Elementary School in East Moline, IL. Kenneth is currently the principal of North Ranch Elementary School in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Kenneth was chosen by a group of stakeholders representing Wells Elementary. They noted his student-centered focus, a deep knowledge of instructional practices, and his approach in bringing an entire school community together to support children. “Mr. Spranger will be a tremendous addition to our school district,” said Dr. Humphries. “His ability to create a culture of shared leadership around teaching and learning will be an asset to Wells Elementary and the East Moline School District.”

“I am excited to join the outstanding team at Wells Elementary School and serve the needs of the East Moline community,” said Mr. Spranger. 

Kenneth is originally from the Quad Cities. He graduated from Moline High School in 1998, Monmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts in 2003, Western Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in 2006, and Northern Arizona University with a Master of Science in Educational Leadership in 2013. Kenneth will assume his leadership role at Wells Elementary School in July 2019.
