EAST MOLINE–The East Moline School District 37 Board of Education has voted unanimously to approve the appointment of Tracy Anderson as the new principal of Glenview Middle School in East Moline, IL. Tracy is currently the associate principal at Glenview.
Tracy was selected because of her strong student-centered leadership and high academic standards. Tracy has a deep knowledge of instructional practices and the ability to create systems where students can receive specific interventions to help them succeed. “Mrs. Anderson has proven to be a tremendous asset to our school district,” said Dr. Humphries. “She’s from East Moline and is invested in serving the Glenview Middle School community. Tracy has a passion for supporting our teachers and paraprofessionals because she understands that they are key to delivering quality instruction to our students. We are very excited to have Mrs. Anderson leading Glenview Middle School into the future.”

Tracy is from East Moline and attended Glenview Middle School as a student. She graduated from United Township High School in 2003, St. Ambrose University with a Bachelor of Arts in 2007, and Western Illinois University with a Master of Science in 2013. Tracy will assume her leadership role at Glenview Middle School in July 2019.
