Speech & Language Resources
There are many activities that can be done at home to promote speech and language development. While we will give online resources here, studies show that computerized voice does not support language development as much as a human voice. Talking to your child, reading to them, playing with them, and interacting with them using lots of language are the best ways that you can support them at home.
The handout linked below provides specific speech therapy support for toddlers
For articulation support, Youtube Videos by Peachie Speechie will provide support drilling down to specific sounds and blends.
The calendars below are filled with activities to support various areas of speech development. Permission to share these calendar images has been granted by their creator, B’s SLP, during this school closure.
For more specific support, please contact your student’s case manager or Speech Language Pathologist.
