Attention 6th through 8th Grade Students Interested in Swimming!
The 2021 Glenview Swimming Intramurals are happening soon!
Details are as follows:
● Open to 6th through 8th grade girls & boys
● This intramurals session is open for in-person students only
● Tuesdays through Fridays 2:30 to 4:00pm at UTHS Swimming Pool
● Start Date: Wednesday, May 5th
● End Date: Friday, May 21st
● Please bring your own swimsuit, towel, and goggles (locker rooms WILL be available to use)
● Students will dismiss with bus riders and ride bus 42
● The Activity bus will be offered Tues through Thurs ONLY
● PLEASE SIGN UP BY FRIDAY APRIL 30th
These will all be open gym sessions where skills are taught and practiced. Please note
that this session is NOT for beginners. Students need to have some prior swimming
skills. Students will ONLY be allowed to participate if they sign up through the google
form emailed to you beforehand. Students WILL NOT be able to walk into an open
swim session without a prior sign-up. Depending how many students sign up, it will be
determined how the sessions will be held. For example, we may have each grade have
their own day of open gym so we can stay within social distancing guidelines. We will
be contacting parents letting them know.
