-Monday night the Cross Country team had their best race of the year on a tough 2 mile course in Milan.
In the Top 7 girls race Carli Wright came in 1st place, her 3rd win of the season. Not far behind was Kira Tysma who finished in 2nd place. Maci Wright, Bayan Ezzeldin, and Camila Escobar also contributed points to help bring home a first place team finish.
In the Top 7 boys race Jax Tysma continued his winning streak with a first place finish and a time of 11:46. Ethan Adair was the top 7th grade runner and helped to bring home a 2nd place team finish.
In the Boys Open race, Mansour Ali finished in 1st place and helped to lead the boys to a first place team finish. Other top runners in the open race were Aiden Schofield (5th Place), Cesar Motcho (9th Place), Isaac Marceleno Perez (12th Place), and Joseph Grumadas (13th Place).
In the Girls Open race, Retag Ahmed finished second place overall. Other top runners were Jazmine Perez (13th Place), Ilaf Salih (15th Place), and Ariana Azombako (19th Place).
Keep up the great season Gators! The next race is this upcoming Tuesday, at Sunset Marina in Rock Island.
-Last Night the 7th grade football team showed some determination in a 22-6 win against Edison. Special shout out to Kamontate Davis for his 3 touchdown performance and leadership. Also great job to the defense for working together all night. Go gators!
-The Girls Tennis team kicked off their season strong agains Seton/Jordan!

Huge congratulations to our 7th grade volleyball team for a thrilling victory over the Seton Chargers last night! The team fought hard in a tight battle and came out on top, winning in 3 sets!

This weeks Jersey Mikes player of the week is Eve Lewis, With an incredible stat line of 6 aces, 3 assists, 17 digs, and 10 kills, she continues to make an impact in every part of the game and is helping lead the 7th Grade Gators to an undefeated 5-0 start!

Tonight’s 8th grade football game scheduled in Geneseo has been moved to tomorrow, September 10th, 4:15pm start time.

Come out and support the Glenview Mariachi Band this Sunday at Runners Park! The Mariachi Band will be performing at 1:30 pm.
