We'd love to see you there!

As we begin the search for our next superintendent, your voice is essential. We’ve partnered with a professional search firm to ensure our new leader reflects the values and priorities of our staff, families, and community.
Please take a few minutes to complete our Superintendent Search Survey. Your feedback will directly shape the leadership profile used to recruit and vet candidates. Let’s work together to find a leader who shares our vision for student success!

More Ridgewood Cubs have successfully completed their ST Math journey! Through hard work, persistence, and problem-solving, these students have reached an exciting milestone. We’re proud of their dedication and can’t wait to see them continue to grow and achieve even more!

Our Kindergarteners are making lots of progress in ST Math and finishing their journeys!

Hope to see you there!

Our first grade classes have been hard at work learning about goods and services! Throughout this unit, students explored the difference between things people make (goods) and jobs people do for others (services).
To bring their learning to life, they created their own goods and practiced providing services, then set up a classroom store. Students took turns being shopkeepers and customers, using their creations to buy, sell, and make change. It was a fun, hands-on way to build real-world understanding—and they did an amazing job!

Congratulations to Immanuel for finishing the 3rd grade ST Math journey!

We're looking forward to meeting our new kindergarten families in the coming weeks!

Hope to see you tonight!!
Hope to see you there! We would love your input.

Our Kindergarteners had an amazing day on their field trip! 🚌✨
They explored, imagined, and got hands-on as they learned how to plan, design, and create their very own bridges and doors.
So proud of our Ridgewood Cubs for thinking like engineers and creators!
Shout out to our librarian, Mrs. Pilichowski for putting this all together!

First graders at Ridgewood Elementary recently got their hands dirty in the best way—with a little help from John Deere! As part of the Inspired School Partnership Program, John Deere employees visited the classroom to plant with students, bringing STEM learning to life through hands-on experience. The activity not only introduced young learners to basic science concepts, but also sparked curiosity about how things grow and the role innovation plays in agriculture—planting the seeds for future exploration. 🌱

Save the date for our upcoming PTO meeting!

Keep up the hard work Ridgewood Cubs! Great job on completing your journey in ST Math!

We hope to see you next week at Culture Night!

Our first graders had an exciting hands-on adventure during their field trip to the Learning Lab at the East Moline District 37 Early Learning Center! Students explored the basics of engineering by designing and building their own bridges using ChompSaws. With lots of creativity and teamwork, they carefully measured, cut, and assembled their structures, learning how to make them strong and stable. The experience sparked curiosity, problem-solving, and plenty of smiles as students tested their bridges and celebrated their hard work together.

Hope to see you at Skate Night tomorrow evening!
