New year, new beginnings! EMSD elementary teachers were treated to a warm welcome from administration staff and an inspiring keynote from Kim Bearden, an award-winning educator and co-founder of the Ron Clark Academy. Kim shared strategies to motivate, engage, and inspire students and to reignite teachers' passion for teaching.

Teachers don't stop working or learning -- even in the summer! Building leadership teams were able to attend the Get Your Teach On conference this summer. This four-day conference was packed full of sessions that provided high-impact, research-based, best instructional practices presented with high-level student engagement strategies that teachers and administrators can implement on the first day! In addition, the conference provided engaging keynote speakers who intended to rekindle an educator's love for teaching. It was a fabulous four days of learning for all!
