-EMSD will have an early dismissal tomorrow, Friday, September 3rd. Glenview will dismiss at 10:55am, elementary schools at 11:30am.

ICNA Relief is holding a B2S Backpacks distribution event on Saturday, August 21st from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the pantry. There will be 100 bags filled with supplies to giveaway.

Good Evening Ridgewood Families,
The following are important reminders as we return to school tomorrow, Wednesday, August 11.
-Students may enter the school starting at 8:00 a.m.
-A Grab-n-Go breakfast will be served between 8:00 and 8:20 a.m.
-Morning meetings in the classroom start at 8:20 and any student not in class by 8:30 a.m. will be counted absent or tardy.
-Dismissal begins at 2:55 pm. Please remember that the first day of school is a 1 hour early dismissal at 1:55.
-Parent drop-off and pick-up is along the front of our building. Please follow staff directions and pull up as far as possible to allow as many cars to drop-off or pick-up as possible.
-We are no longer requiring a Self-Certification “golden ticket” this year. -Please call the school nurse if your child is experiencing symptoms.
-We will not be using drinking fountains this year, so please send your child with a water bottle to keep on their desk. We have bottle fill stations they can use throughout the school.
-Students and staff are required to wear masks in the building and maintain 3 feet social distance. -Visitors are not allowed in the building at this time.
-Please have your student come to school each day with their Chromebook charged. Kindergarten, 1st graders, and students new to the district will be getting their Chromebooks in their classrooms the first week of school.
-At this time all class lists are entered into our Skyward database. Please access your Skyward Family Access account and click on the “Schedule” tab to see your child’s assigned teacher.
-If you want to send birthday treats with your student during the year, you must order those treats from the district. We are no longer accepting outside food for birthday treats or classroom parties. To view and fill out an order form, please go to the Food Service Department tab on the EMSD37 website.

Our first day of school is Wednesday, August 11. Student drop off begins at 8:00 am. Students will meet their teachers and bring their supplies to school on the first day. We will not allow visitors in the building so please make sure to take all first day pictures at home or outside the building. School will end one hour early on the first day with dismissal at 2:00 pm. We look forward to a great school year!
