An Update to the P-EBT benefit issues.
Within the last week, we have seen some families start to receive the P-EBT benefit cards that were announced by the State of Illinois. Please be patient as EMSD has no control over the delivery or rollout of the cards. We have seen cases where families with multiple children are receiving cards for one or some of the children but not all. We can only reiterate that EMSD has NOT opted out of the program and we are submitting our data as requested and the cards will eventually come for all.
Again, please be patient and be meticulous going through your mail as we have been told that these cards come in a plain white envelope addressed only to the child.

EMSD Spirit Week
We have finished our IAR testing days! To celebrate our finish, we invite all students to participate in a Glenview spirit wear day tomorrow! Wear your Glenview gear or blue and gold.
The students have done a great job adapting to all of our schedule changes and long testing periods. If your child is a remote learner and was not able to test, we will reach out to you about makeup opportunities.
We will also have one more set of testing in May - the state science assessment. This assessment is for grades 5 and 8 only. The assessment will be offered for 8th grade remote learners on Monday, May 3rd, and for 5th grade remote learners on Monday, May 10th. The schedule for Google Meets will not be disrupted for the science assessment.
Glenview families- please see the attached flyer from the Y Winners program. They still have spots available for 5th-8th grade students. You need to contact Daisy Moran at the YMCA for sign up information .
