4-2-24 Announcements
-Soccer is canceled for today due to the weather.
-Congratulations to our boys and girls track teams in the first meet of the season last Thursday. Started the season blazing the track with 18 total new school records set. Go Gators!
-Chef Club for GROUP 4A meets today and Thursday in room 277.
-Foster's Voice meets today in room 147.
-French Club meets tomorrow in room 337.
-Gamers Club meets tomorrow in room 274 (Last meeting of the year).
-Karaoke Club meets tomorrow in room 238 (Last meeting of the year).
-Calling all Glenview students! Everyone wanting to participate in the multicultural fashion show, please speak to Miss Martinez or Miss Alba about joining! If you can't find these two staff that's okay, please join us for a meeting about the event on Thursday after school. Everyone is welcome to join! Track students, don't worry, you can join too! Coaches said it's okay if you're a little late to practice for this meeting. Meeting location will be in Room 111.

REMINDER:
There is NO SCHOOL tomorrow, Friday, March 29th, and NO SCHOOL on Monday, April 1st.

-One By One members visiting Illinois State University in April must turn in a signed permission slip by tomorrow to Mrs. Newton in the library. Permission slips will NOT be accepted after tomorrow. Don't miss out!
-Latinx Workshop will meet after school today in the library. Help is needed to put away the HERstory gallery. We also have an exciting April event coming up. Don't miss out on the details! Questions? Speak with Mrs. Mojica.

-Builder’s Club meets this Thursday. We will be meeting at the Oasis in East Moline. Members will need to get on Bus #30 at dismissal to head to the Oasis. A bus will bring you back to Glenview at 4.
-One By One meets tomorrow after school in the library. Stop by to watch the last part of our movie and join in on the discussion about student loans. The concession stand will be stocked so be sure to bring your Chromebook! Speak with Mrs Mojica or Mrs. Newton if you have any questions.
-Latinx Workshop will meet next week on Wednesday, March 27th. Help us plan our end of year luncheon to celebrate our hermanas! Speak with Mrs. Mojica for more details.
-Yearbook club meets this Thursday in Room 302.
-Boys in grades 7-8 who are interested in the spring session of tennis should see Mr. Saint Fleur or Mrs. Campbell. The start date for tennis has been postponed until Thursday, March 28 due to the cooler weather this week.

-Students interested in joining the Tennis Club Spring Session should get a registration form from Mr. Saint Fleur or Mrs. Campbell.

-The spring session for boys soccer begins today for those students who are already registered from the fall session.
-Boys in grades 7-8 who are interested in the spring session of tennis should see Mr. Saint Fleur or Mrs. Campbell. The start date for tennis has been postponed until Thursday, March 28 due to the cooler weather this week.
-The 5th grade March Madness Lexia challenge has begun. After week 1, the blue team classes who are advancing are Mrs. Palmer's period 1,2, 3,4, and 8,9. The gold team classes who are advancing are Mrs. Crouch's 1,2, Mrs. Wells' 3,4 and Mrs. Wells 8,9. The competition is heating up. Who will advance to the next round? Stay tuned to find out.
-Track practice will start today after school. Students should meet in the East Gym downstairs. Please wear appropriate shoes and be ready to run!

Developmental screenings for children ages 3-5 years old.
Currently enrolled students in our program do not need to be screened.
