8-24-21 Announcements
-Glenview Student Apparel flyers are coming soon! All orders must be placed online. The deadline is September 12th.

-Reminder to all football players to bring your spirit cards and money to practice today.
-If you are interested in purchasing a memory book from last school year, come to student services. They are $5. These will be first come first serve.
-Students who are in football, volleyball and cross country: your apparel orders are due this Friday the 27th. Turn them in to a coach or Mrs. Talia in Student Services.
-5th and 6th graders interested in signing up for Jr Panther Tackle Football can pick up a flyer in student services. Sign up is next week. Don't miss out!
-7th & 8th graders are invited to apply to be a part of One By One. It is an academic program that teaches students how to support each other with classes and learn about higher education while having fun along the way. Meetings are once a month after school. Friday is the last day to apply. Applications are posted in Google Classrooms (ELA, math, SS & science).

UT's Homecoming is Sept 17th. Show your support by wearing their Enchanted Forest theme shirt. They have created a shirt just for community supporters, available in adult and youth sizes. Order at the link below by Aug 24th.

ICNA Relief is holding a B2S Backpacks distribution event on Saturday, August 21st from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the pantry. There will be 100 bags filled with supplies to giveaway.

The Glenview Football teams are selling spirit cards this week! They are $25. Ask a coach, a player or Mrs. Gryp in the office if you are interested in buying one. There are lots of great deals and local vendors on the card! You can use this card over and over again for 1 year. The sale ends Tuesday the 24th. We would love your support!

7 – 8th grade Mariachi Band rehearsals will be on Tuesday’s & Thursday’s (starts tomorrow, 2:30-4pm)

8-13-21 Announcements
-It's party time for all 6-8th Grade Mariachi Band students! Monday August 16th come meet your new director, Mrs. Hill and have free pizza. If you need to ride the activity bus home at 4:30, it is very important that you sign up on the sheet outside Mrs. Hill's room 296. We will start rehearsals the very next day! The 7/8th graders on Tuesday and Thursday and the 6th graders on Monday and Wednesday. See Mrs. Hill with questions.
-7th grade girls volleyball tryouts are today after school until 4pm. Locker rooms will be available. You do not need a physical to try out but if you make the team you will need one. Please wear appropriate clothing. No jeans, slides or sandals. An activity bus will be available. Please have a ride arranged.

PE clothes and calculators will be for sale in the 7th grade foyer across the south gym tomorrow during periods 2/3/8/9 for the 7th and 8th graders. Send money to school with your student to pick up their items.
