We are counting down the days until the solar eclipse on April 8. Our 1st-4th grade students have the opportunity to watch the solar eclipse with approved glasses to protect their eyes. Students may only watch the solar eclipse with a signed parent permission slip. Be sure to get the permission slip turned in next week.

* East Moline Little League has one last sign-up at Glenview this Wednesday from 4-6pm. Late fees will be waved if signed up by this Wednesday.

Developmental screenings for children ages 3-5 years old.
Currently enrolled students in our program do not need to be screened.

EMSD is back to school tomorrow, Monday, March 18th.
An East Moline Public Library program...
East Moline Students ages 10-12 interested in robotics and coding are invited to come learn about these concepts through building LEGO projects!
*This is a 3-session program. Registration is required for the first session to be eligible for the following sessions.

-TOMORROW, Friday, March 8th is an EARLY DISMISSAL DAY. Glenview will dismiss at 10:55am, all elementary schools will dismiss at 11:30am.
-Spring Break is March 11th - 15th.

Congratulations to Mrs. Salazar, 2nd grade teacher at Hillcrest Elementary School. She was awarded the ROE staff member of the month this week. Mrs. Salazar is dedicated to her students and their success. Mrs. Salazar goes above and beyond to communicate with the families of her students and those of the bilingual community. She advocates for bilingual education, and she ensures that her students get the best education. It is obvious that if you are a student of Mrs. Salazar, you are a student of hers forever. Thank you for the love you show your students each day!
