Hillcrest students met their first behavior goal for the school year. Last week on Thursday, each student enjoyed a popsicle in the sunshine! It was our goal to earn 16 COMPLIMENT Parties by September 1. Our Hornets earned 18 COMPLIMENT Parties! Our classrooms earned a COMPLIMENT Party when they received 10 compliments. A compliment is earned when the entire class is following the 3 B's of Hillcrest (Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe). Ask your student how their class earned some of their compliments. We are proud of the commitment that our students have made to learn the expectations of our school family. Keep up the good work!
REMINDER
There is NO SCHOOL TOMORROW, Friday, September 1st and NO SCHOOL Monday, September 4th in observance of Labor Day.

Our @STMath Launch Week starts today! Students will officially begin a journey to deepen their mathematical understanding all year long. Can we hit our weekly goal of 60 minutes for K-2 students and 90 minutes for 3-5 students?!

TOMORROW, Wednesday, August 9th is our FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL (K-8th)!
There will be a one-hour early dismissal. Elementary schools will dismiss at 2:00 pm, Glenview will dismiss at 1:25 pm.
