Hillcrest students each received a free book at school last week in coordination with our Readers are Leaders initiative and to celebrate Read Across America. A big thanks to AFSCME Local 46 at the East Moline Correctional Center, President Cody Dornes, Jayne O’Brien, and Greg Johnson for believing in the power of reading. Strong Readers, make Stronger Leaders!
Please try and read every day for at least 20 minutes!
Remote students can pick up their book at Hillcrest during remote distribution later in the month.
