The Scholastic Book Fair is coming! SAVE THE DATE for November 7th and 8th and get ready to empower your reader with book choice. The book fair will take place during parent/teacher conferences.
Congratulations, Mrs. Beale, for being our ROE Staff Member of the Month! Mrs. Beale has gone above and beyond to support students at Hillcrest in many different capacities. She supports the students in the SLC Room, students who are in evaluation, and the students on her caseload. Mrs. Beale always brings a positive growth mindset to the table, and she puts in the effort to ensure that all of the students' needs are being met. Not only does Mrs. Beale support students, but she supports her colleagues too. She is an expert in her field, and it is important that she knows how much her knowledge and expertise is valued and appreciated. Thank you for being YOU, Mrs. Beale! You are appreciated.

Spirit Week fun!!
Fall Break is October 7th-11th, and there is no school on October 14th in observance of Columbus Day.
School resumes on Tuesday, October 15th.
REMINDER
Today is an early dismissal day. Glenview will dismiss at 10:55 am, elementary schools will dismiss at 11:30 am.
The UTHS Homecoming Parade will begin at 2:00 pm downtown East Moline.
Today as a school family we created a moment for our students and staff. For the last three weeks, each classroom at Hillcrest watched caterpillars transform into butterflies. This afternoon, our Hornets released approximately 75 butterflies into the wild. It was an amazing experience that moved our school family. Fly on, butterflies! Thank you for creating positive memories for us.
