EARLY LEARNING CENTER HEALTH PROGRAM

The East Moline Early Learning Center Health Program includes the following:

  • Certified school nurse

  • Review of health and immunization records

  • Vision/Hearing Screening

  • Individualized health care planning as needed

  • Assessment of growth

  • Parent health education and nutrition programs

  • Physician referral assistance

  • Physical assessment

  • Follow-up of health problems

  • Access to Give Kids a Smile Dental Program (1-2 times yearly)

IMMUNIZATIONS AND OTHER MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS

ILLNESS AND CONTAGIOUS DISEASE

If your child is sick, please keep him/her home. Your child should remain home until his/her symptoms have subsided and he/she has not had a temperature for 24 hours. Keep your child at home if he/she is vomiting, has diarrhea, has a temperature (of 100.4 or higher), or has an undiagnosed rash. Please contact the Early Childhood Office to report the absence at (309) 865-6900.
