There was an error in the district newsletter that went out yesterday. Please note that the last day of school is a full day of student attendance, not a half day.
We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

Congrats and a big THANK YOU to our 2025 EMSD Retirees!

We look forward to meeting our incoming 5th graders and families tomorrow, May 15th!

EMSD's last day of school is Wednesday, May 28th.

Dear Families,
This year in order to update and refresh student devices, we will be collecting Chromebooks from all students currently enrolled in Kindergarten through 4th grade.
We will begin collection on Monday, May 12th and will be collecting the device, charger and stylus. Beginning on May 12th, to help with the collection, students will no longer be able to take the devices home. During the summer, the devices will be cleaned, refreshed, repaired as needed and updated. Please be sure to send the device itself and any accessories (charger, stylus) to school on May 12th.
If your child is attending any of the programming hosted by EMSD over the summer, each program will have a set of devices that students will use during that program. If your student will not be in the district next year, please give this information to the teacher.
We thank you in advance for your cooperation. If you have any questions, please contact us at 309-865-6946.
Sincerely,
EMSD Department of Technology Services

Our third grade students have been busy studying and researching farmers markets. Today their unit concluded with guest speakers from the Freight House Farmers Market. The students submitted questions that were answered, virtually explored what the local market offers to the community, as well as take home their very own tomato plant to grow. To wrap up the event, students presented their research to parents. Way to go 3rd grade!

Thank you!

REMINDER-
Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 7th is an early dismissal Day. Glenview will dismiss at 10:55 am, elementary schools will dismiss at 11:30 am.
