Meet Oakley, our new therapy dog! Today was his first day helping Ms. Farren's kindergarten class, and he's already a huge hit!
Oakley will bring many benefits to our school, including reducing stress, improving mood, increasing engagement, fostering empathy, and providing comfort. We're thrilled to have him at Wells Elementary! Stay tuned for more Oakley updates!

EMSD Reminders
-TOMORROW, Friday, October 3rd is an EARLY DISMISSAL DAY. Glenview will dismiss at 10:55 am, elementary schools dismiss at 11:30 am, and there is No School for ELC. *The UTHS Homecoming Parade is tomorrow, October 3rd, beginning at 2:30 pm on Archer Drive, between UTHS and Soule Bowl.

Be a parent mentor by volunteering in classrooms for 2 hours a day, supporting students at least 100 hours per semester. The Parent Mentors also receive weekly training, both virtually and in-person. Along with these trainings, Parent Mentors receive the benefits of leadership training and community engagement. After completing 100 hours, you may receive a $$Stipend$$.
