Each day this week, there will be a post with parent resources related to an overall question. Thank you to the East Moline Fire Department for sharing their knowledge with our 2nd graders on Friday. Our students enjoyed seeing firefighter gear in person, and they loved getting a tour of the firetruck. Thank you to these first responders for coming to Wells! 🚒 🔥
A huge thank you to John Deere Harvester Works for our brand new book box. Come to Wells at anytime to pick out a book to take home, read, and keep! It was stocked with great reads today. There is plenty to choose from! We are excited to get books into the hands of our community.

WE MET OUR GOAL!
Our Wildcats earned 30+ Compliment Parties before September 30th. Yesterday, our students celebrated. Each grade level was assigned a portion of the sidewalk to create chalk murals. Check out some of the amazing art work! Ask your child about this celebration.
REMINDER: EMSD will be on Fall Break October 1st-9th. There will be no school October 10th, in observance of Columbus Day.
School will resume on Tuesday, October 11th.

Aetna Better Health of Illinois is hosting Free Laundry & Literacy Day on Friday, September 30th from 2p.m. to 6p.m. at Mega Load Coin Laundry on 4200 10th Street, East Moline, IL 61244.
Free vegetables will be distributed.
REMINDER: This Friday, September 23rd is an early dismissal day.
Glenview will dismiss at 10:55am, all elementary buildings will dismiss at 11:30am.
The UTHS Homecoming Parade will begin at 2:00pm downtown East Moline.
