5-22-25 Announcements
-Come celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Glenview Mariachi program on May 30th! Glenview Mariachi Performs at Mercado on 5th on Friday, May 30th at 6:30pm. Students need to be at school by 4:30pm dressed in their Mariachi shirts or plain colored shirts.
-Be Part of the Band! If you would like to be a part of the Glenview band next year, make sure you fill out a form and turn it in to Mr. Brown by Tuesday.
-Attention Queens Collective girls: Our final meeting of the year is tomorrow after school. Please meet Mrs. Hayford and Mrs. Beechum in Mr. Saint Fleur’s room.
-All track athletes please turn in your jerseys and spikes to one of the coaches. You must have your jersey turned in to attend the end-of-the-year celebration tonight.
-Registration for the Lights ON Summer Enrichment program closes on Friday, May 23rd for students who need bussing. Forms are available in the main office or student services. The summer program is limited to 50 students.

Students are currently sheltering in place due to weather conditions. Glenview Middle School will dismiss at 2:45 p.m., elementary buildings will dismiss at 3:15 p.m. , and the Early Learning Center will dismiss at 3:45 p.m.

-Congratulations to our track team on a fantastic season. Saturday we competed in the Geneseo sectional meet with a lot of great performances, PRs, and new school records. This season has been remarkable.

Dear Families,
This year in order to update and refresh student devices, we will be collecting Chromebooks from ALL students currently enrolled at Glenview Middle School.
We will begin collection on Monday, May 19th and will be collecting the device, charger and stylus during the school day. These devices will be cleaned, refreshed, repaired and stored for next year. Please be sure to send the device and any accessories (charger, stylus) to school starting the week of May 19th. Collection dates are as follows:
5th Grade: May 19th
6th Grade: May 20th
7th Grade: May 21st
8th Grade: May 22nd
If your student is attending any of the programming hosted by EMSD over the summer, each program will have a set of devices that students will use during that program. If your student will not be in the district next year, please have him or her let the technician know during the check-in process.

-Yesterday was an amazing day for Glenview Tennis. 8th grade student, David Cobos, has made history by becoming the first ever Heartland Conference Champion in Singles. David has won the championship match by dominating his opponent from John Deere 8 games to 3. Teachers and students, please congratulate David wherever you see him: in the classroom, in the hallways, in the gym, or in the cafeteria.
Congratulations and a big thanks to each and every boy that was part of the Tennis team. Thank you to everyone that helped make this adventure possible. Mr. Saint Fleur and Mr. Michna are grateful to you all.
