4-9-24 Announcements -7th and 8th grade girls going to the Moline Invitational Track Meet, please be at school tomorrow, Wednesday April 10th at 3:25 to ensure you get your track top. -One By One and Latinx Workshop members attending the Illinois State University campus visit tomorrow are reminded to arrive at school between 6:30am and 6:45am. Glenview students experienced the solar eclipse yesterday! Thank you to Rep Gregg Johnson and the Illinois Optometric Association, John Deere, Earth Works Landscaping, and the Hillcrest PTA who all sponsored the special glasses for our students so they could view the eclipse.

REMINDER: -Tomorrow, Tuesday, April 9th is an early dismissal day. Elementary schools will dismiss at 11:30am, Glenview will dismiss at 10:55am. -There is NO SCHOOL on Wednesday, April 10th.

4-4-24 Announcements -Congratulations to our top 5th and 8th grade Pacer test contestants: Amal El Majdoubi with 76 Abozar Fakhri with 74 Faith Huizar with 90 And with an all-time school record, Mouhamed Diop with 117 Great job runners! -Tennis Club meets today after school. Please report to Room 111 after the dismissal bell. -Chef Club for GROUP 4A meets today and Thursday in room 277. (This is the last session for Group 4A). -The Lexia March Madness challenge has come to an end. The class who walked away as champions was Mrs. Palmer's period 8/9. We will celebrate with a pizza party next Friday. Congratulations to the winners! Mrs. Crouch's period 1/2 class were fierce competitors coming in at 2nd place. Good job to all the 5th graders. Dear Families, This year in order to update and refresh student devices, we will be collecting Chromebooks from ALL students currently enrolled at Glenview Middle School. We will begin collection on Monday, May 20th and will be collecting the device, charger and stylus during the school day. These devices will be cleaned, refreshed, repaired and stored for next year. Please be sure to send the device and any accessories (charger, stylus) to school starting the week of May 20th. Collection dates are as follows: 8th Grade May 20 7th Grade May 21 6th Grade May 22 5th Grade May 23 If your student is attending any of the programming hosted by EMSD over the summer, each program will have a set of devices that students will use during that program. If your student will not be in the district next year, please have him or her let the technician know during the check-in process. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
