The East Moline Library has a great opportunity for young girls in middle school. They have partnered with an organization called SASS - Surviving Assault Standing Strong - which teaches young girls in middle school to recognize the signs of unhealthy relationships and the dangers hidden in social media, as well as mental and physical self defense. The cost is $15 for the 2 hour session but the fee can be waived or reduced if needed so that everyone can have the chance to attend that wants to.
