Fourth grade lunch takes place at 12:30pm, not 1:00pm. Also, second grade will be back from their park field trip before lunch on the lawn.
We had a great turn out for our first KKIDS ice cream social. Our students and parent mentors served over 100 people. It was great seeing our families mingling and students playing on the playground together. The weather was perfect!

Please join us for our EMSD Student Robotics Showcase!
Parents can attend the event with their students to see various robotic opportunities in grades K-8 in the East Moline School District.
This is a hands-on opportunity to try some of the different robotic platforms. It is a preview of activities to come for district students!
Attention incoming 5th-grade parents and students!
Please plan to attend the Transition to 5th Grade Parent Night. You will receive information about what it's like to be a part of Glenview Middle School , after-school clubs, and activities students can be involved in, and be able to ask questions about middle school.
We will be collecting Chromebooks from all students currently enrolled in Kindergarten through 4th grade on Monday, May 13th.
We will be collecting the device, charger, and stylus. Students will no longer be able to take the devices home. Please be sure to send the device itself and any accessories (charger, stylus) to school on Monday.
If your child is attending any of the programming hosted by EMSD over the summer, each program will have a set of devices that students will use during that program. If your student will not be in the district next year, please give this information to the teacher.
A BIG thank you to our Hillcrest PTO for spoiling our staff this week! They provided us with tacos, cookies, bagels, and a Sunshine Cart. There was something to look forward to each day.

Any Kkids students who signed up to help with the pet scavenger hunt on Saturday May 11, previously May 4, please still come to Glenview at 9AM on Saturday if still available. Despite the rain we did get the fliers passed out to the neighborhoods today.

TOMORROW, Friday, May 10th is an early dismissal day. Glenview will dismiss at 10:55am and all elementary schools will dismiss at 11:30am.
