Happy Summer!
Our last MAP Testing incentive took place today. If students met their reading and/or spring goal they had their name put in a drawing to pie a staff member in the face. We had some brave staff members step up to the plate!
Thank you to all our families that came to Lunch on the Lawn! It was fantastic having a front lawn full of people that support our students. We hope you enjoyed your visit!
East Moline Public Library Summer Reading Kick-Off
A friendly reminder that Lunch on the Lawn is on Tuesday. Students will meet their families on the front lawn to eat lunch. Parents will not be allowed in the building. Please join your child's class on the playground for recess, and then say goodbye before your child heads back into the building for their afternoon of learning.
Kona Ice will be on site on Tuesday during Lunch on the Lawn. See prices on the flyer attached -- All proceeds will go to our Hillcrest PTO.

Field Day 2024
We celebrated our kindergarten students yesterday. We are amazed at how far they have come this year in both their social emotional learning and academics. Hillcrest Elementary School has the best kindergarten teachers. Our kids are lucky to be taught by them!
Our last day of school is Wednesday, May 29th. It will be a full day of school.

Fourth grade lunch takes place at 12:30pm, not 1:00pm. Also, second grade will be back from their park field trip before lunch on the lawn.
We had a great turn out for our first KKIDS ice cream social. Our students and parent mentors served over 100 people. It was great seeing our families mingling and students playing on the playground together. The weather was perfect!
