All of the East Moline elementary schools will be celebrating Picture Book Month by having a Storybook Character Day on Friday, November 17th!
Think of a character from a storybook you have read and loved! Then, come to school on Friday, November 17th dressed as this character. If you have a book the character is in, bring it to share with your class. Be creative and have fun coming up with a character to become! Make sure your attire and any props are school-appropriate!

We are looking forward to seeing you tomorrow night and Friday morning for parent/teacher conferences. In the building there will be a family resource group in attendance. They will have a table set up at the main entrance. Please see the attached flyer for more information. This group has resources for all.
REMINDER: Parent/Teacher Conferences are this Thursday evening and Friday morning. Please reach out to your student's teacher if you have not scheduled a time for a conference.
There is NO SCHOOL on Friday, November 3rd.
To kick off November reading, we will have another Hillcrest Reading Challenge. Visit the East Moline Public Library or a bookcase with family or friends and complete the Book Scavenger Hunt!
