Welcome to the Verification of Employment (VOE) page. If you are an employer needing to verify employment or income information for a current or former employee, please review the instructions below.

How We Handle Verification Requests

Our district uses Verifent, a secure third-party service, to handle all employment and income verification requests. This service ensures that requests are processed quickly, securely, and in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

Note: Verifent is also used by employers to verify previous employment history for former employees and new hires for candidates during the hiring process.

Steps for Verifiers

To submit a verification request:

1. Visit www.verifent.com.
   
   

2. Click “Let’s Get Started Now” (top right corner).
   
   

3. Choose “Verifiers” and scroll to the bottom.
   
   

4. Click “Register Now” to apply and become credentialed.
   
   Once approved, submit your verification request through the Verifent portal.
   

 Required Information for a Verification

To process a verification, you will need:

• Our Organization Code: 2CCCA5

• Employee’s full name (as used during employment)

• Date of birth

• Last four digits of the employee’s Social Security Number

• Proof of consent from the employee (especially for income verification)

Commercial vs. Government Verifiers

• Commercial Verifier: Any non-government organization (e.g., mortgage lenders, background checks, credit applications).

• Government Verifier: Any government agency verifying information for programs like SNAP, TANF, Medicaid, etc.
  

Loan Forgiveness Forms (PSLF or TEACH Grant):
Submit forms electronically to Tracy Anderson, Director of Human Resources, at tanderson@emsd37.org

All other Verification Letters (Housing, Apartments, Childcare, Out of State Licensure, etc.):
Email Shelly Murphy at smurphy@emsd37.org to request a letter for your landlord or with any other questions regarding Verification of Employment
