A huge congratulations to the 8th-grade girls' volleyball team on winning their third game of the week against the Wilson Wildcats! It was an exciting match that had everyone on the edge of their seats, with the girls winning two out of three sets. The team's power and versatility were on full display. Molly Darras was a force all over the court with 4 aces, 10 assists, and 7 digs. On defense, Addy Vanwinkle was a wall with an impressive 16 digs, while Cora Taylor led the offense with 4 kills. Let's wish our Lady Gators good luck as they take on the John Deere Spartans tonight! Go Gators! -Students interested in participating in the UTHS cheer clinic can pick up a form in the main office. A huge congratulations to the Glenview Girls Tennis team for their fantastic performance against Jr Pioneers - Seton/Jordan yesterday at the UT home courts! Our Gators were on fire, winning an incredible 7 out of 9 matches! Singles Victories: Samantha Burlingham clinched a thrilling 7-6 victory in a tiebreak! Balsam Nhar won her match decisively with a score of 6-3! Maimouna Sadou secured a strong 6-4 win! Cataleya Noriega also won her match with a solid 6-3 score! Doubles Victories: Hana Limani & Cataleya Noriega teamed up for a 6-3 win! Tinley Reyes & Balsam Nhar fought hard for a 7-5 victory! Fahima Sani & Annegeliese Johnson finished strong with a 6-3 win! Way to defend our home courts, Gators! Let's keep the support going! Mark your calendars for their next game against Wilson. Go Gators! -The Cross Country team had a great race yesterday in Rock Island’s Sunset Marina. Out of 10 teams, our Top 7 girls finished 2nd place, bringing home another trophy. Our top 7 boys also showed up determined and finished 3rd. On defense, Alli Darras led the team with 12 digs, Addy Vanwinkle had 6 digs, and Zariyah Deemer was a powerhouse at the serving line, with 5 of the team's 16 total aces. 9-23-25 Announcements (make-up post) -We have a huge congratulations to share with our girls' volleyball team! They completely dominated their opponent last night 9/22, sweeping Geneseo in a thrilling victory. The defense was unstoppable, with Alli Darras and Ashlyn Enes combining for an incredible 20 digs to keep the ball in play. On offense, Molly Darras set the pace with 20 assists, feeding the ball to Cali Lam, who had 4 kills. The team also served with power and precision, as Stella Rodriguez and Ashlyn Enes each delivered 4 aces.

9-17-25 Announcements -Congratulations to the Glenview Girls Tennis team, who started their season with a fantastic showing in Rock Island yesterday! Several players had dominant performances: Hana Limani and Tinley Reyes swept their opponents with a perfect score of 6-0! Anayiah Rush also secured a strong 6-2 victory. A big shout-out to our other winners in the "Fast Fours" matches, Samantha Burlington and Princess, who battled hard to win their games! Come out and cheer on the team at their next home match Glenview vs. Rock Island, this Thursday, September 18th at the UTHS Tennis Courts Let's show our support!
