Ms. Hill is our September Employee of the Month, as recognized by the Rock Island Regional Office of Education (RIROE). Ms. Hill is our school secretary here at the East Moline Early Learning Center, and is recognized for her dedication and work ethic over the summer months. While the school halls were quiet, she was working countless extra hours behind the scenes—managing registration, organizing schedules, and ensuring that all the logistical details were in place before our doors opened. Her ability to navigate stressful preparations with patience, efficiency, and a welcoming smile ensured that our students, families, and staff walked into a seamlessly organized environment on the first day back from summer break. Her patience and friendly face set the tone in our main office, and her summer efforts have given us a jumpstart for a successful school year at ELC! This week students have started to add leaves to their classroom Kindness Trees! When a student does something kind, we celebrate their act of kindness by adding to our trees. Our three big expectations at the Early Learning Center are to Be Kind, Be Safe, and Be Helpful. The Kindness Tree is a visual reminder that when we do kind things, it is not only helpful to those around us, but also makes us feel good about ourselves too! #growingthroughPLAY
