Ms. Roberts was recognized by the Rock Island Regional Office of Education (RIROE) for the January Employee of the Month for the East Moline Early Learning Center. Ms. Roberts was nominated for her enthusiasm, passion, professionalism and her willingness to learn. On a daily basis, she shares her professional expertise, builds relationships with students and colleagues, and finds joy in her work with young children. East Moline School District Families:

Due to the dangerously cold temperatures forecast for tomorrow morning, the East Moline School District will not have school (Tuesday, January 16) in person or through Electronic Learning. We appreciate your understanding as we work to keep our students and employees safe. Stay warm!

Due to inclement weather, tomorrow (Friday, January 12) will be a Snow Day for the East Moline School District. Due to the issues we had with our system for online learning, we will not hold an Electronic Learning Day until we get those fixed and make some changes. In the meantime, we will utilize a Snow Day for tomorrow and there will be no school for students and staff. We appreciate your understanding as we work to keep our students and employees safe.

Good morning families! Happy snowy E-Learning day! We hope that you are sharing in the excitement with your child…..snowy days are so much fun! A couple of tips and reminders regarding the Google Meets Lessons:
If you were able to join this morning…..we loved seeing you all! If you had difficulty with any of the links, we apologize and are working through the few issues with our tech department. Overall, our troubleshooting has been minor.
Despite the messaging that went out through a district text/email, Early Childhood will still proceed with the afternoon Google Meets (for pm students). If your am student was unable to join and you would like them to hop on the afternoon session to see their teacher, just reach out to the teacher and she can send you a new link.
Do not worry about your child being marked absent if they were unable to join the live lesson….our priority today is having fun, connecting with you if possible, and sharing resources/videos/activities that you can do at home with your child. Do not stress over this :)
If you do plan to join at 1:00 pm, try to hop on a few minutes early so we can troubleshoot any connection issues if needed.
