Ms. Evans was recognized by the Rock Island Regional Office of Education (RIROE) for the Employee of the Month for the East Moline Early Learning Center. Ms. Evans was nominated for her passion in working with early learners, her dedication to the profession, and her calm presence that she brings each day to our School Family. Lynn is hardworking, willing to help whenever needed, and builds strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues. We appreciate you, Lynn! #growingthroughplay #EMSD37Pride


REMINDER:
• Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 21st is an early dismissal day. Glenview will dismiss at 10:55 am, elementary schools will dismiss at 11:30 am.
• November 22-26 is Thanksgiving Break.
• School resumes on Monday, November 27th.

All of the East Moline elementary schools and the Early Learning Center will be celebrating Picture Book Month by having a Storybook Character Day on Friday, November 17th!
Think of a character from a storybook you have read and loved! Then, come to school on Friday, November 17th dressed as this character. If you have a book the character is in, bring it to share with your class. Be creative and have fun coming up with a character to become! Make sure your attire and any props are school-appropriate!
