The Bobcat Spotlight this week recognizes Mrs. Orman. Mrs. Orman works every day to build wonderful relationships with her students. She makes sure to care for their social, emotional, and academic needs. She always puts students first in her classroom. We thank Mrs. Orman for all of her hard work! #EMSD37Pride
An Update to the P-EBT benefit issues.
Within the last week, we have seen some families start to receive the P-EBT benefit cards that were announced by the State of Illinois. Please be patient as EMSD has no control over the delivery or rollout of the cards. We have seen cases where families with multiple children are receiving cards for one or some of the children but not all. We can only reiterate that EMSD has NOT opted out of the program and we are submitting our data as requested and the cards will eventually come for all.
Again, please be patient and be meticulous going through your mail as we have been told that these cards come in a plain white envelope addressed only to the child.

Mrs. Johnson is the feature of this week's Bobcat Spotlight. Mrs. Johnson is a driven, dedicated, and inspirational kindergarten teacher. She creates a positive and educational classroom environment and always puts students first. Her constant support for her colleagues and students are only two of the things that make her invaluable to our Bowlesburg team. Thank you Mrs. Johnson for all you do! #EMSD37Pride
EMSD Spirit Week
This week's spotlight features Mrs. Michele Smith. Mrs. Smith is a 4th grade teacher who always puts the best interest of her students first. She goes above and beyond each day to make sure all students are learning. Her commitment to her PLC team and the Bowlesburg staff is reflected in everything she does. We are lucky to have her as part of our Bowlesburg family. #EMSD37Pride
This week we recognize Mrs. Anderson. Mrs. Anderson always goes above and beyond for Bowlesburg. Her dedication to ensuring that all students receive rigorous instruction and achieve at the highest levels is unwavering. She is also instrumental in supporting our PBIS systems for the school. We would be lost without her! Thank you Mrs. Anderson for all that you do! #EMSD37Pride
