Today was a total slam dunk (or should we say SLAP SHOT!) in 2nd grade! We had the best secret readers: none other than the @QuadCityStorm's own hockey players, Davis Kirkendall (#19) and Ty Matthews (#11)!
They traded some ice time for time to read "Dino Hockey" to our class, and the kiddos were absolutely buzzing! 🎉 A huge shout-out to Jackson Marker for helping make this surprise possible. Thank you for making reading so cool!

Bowlesburg’s Girls on the Run team has been practicing since September for this weekend’s race. We had sixteen girls and their running buddies complete the Zombie 5k run in Davenport on Saturday. We are extremely proud.
