Today is the End of 2nd Quarter.
Mental Health in Children Resource
EM Public Library event for all ages; runs from January 11th -February 28th. The Kick-off event will be held at the library on January 11th from 12-2pm. There will be hot cocoa, crafts, giveaways and more. Participants of the challenge can log their reading and activities on the Beanstack app or website ( https://eastmolinelib.beanstack.com/reader365 ) and earn tickets for the grand prizes. There is also a coloring contest running at the same time which is for all ages. There will be a prize for each age group. This is all free to the public and you don't have to live in East Moline or have a library card to participate.

For November, Ms. Virginia (Vicky) was recognized by the Rock Island Regional Office of Education (RIROE) for the Employee of the Month Award at the East Moline Early Learning Center. Ms. Vicky joined our School Family in January 2023 as an instructional paraprofessional. Prior to a short time working in a local child care center, Vicky had several years of experience in banking. Looking for a career change, Ms. Vicky joined our team and has been an asset to our school programming. She is a hard worker, makes learning fun, connects with families, and understands the importance of putting children at the forefront of her daily responsibilities. Ms. Vicky is kind, helpful, and enjoys finding the wonder in everyday experiences. Thank you for taking the leap to join our School Family, Ms. Vicky! #EMSD37Pride #growingthroughplay
