Welcome to the Benefits Page!

East Moline School District values employees and takes pride in providing a comprehensive benefits package. This site will help you better understand the plans and programs available to you and your family. Whether you are single, married, raising a family, or thinking ahead to retirement, our benefits program offers you and your family resources for financial planning and personal wellness through all of life's stages. Please refer to the benefit menu for more detailed information regarding each employee benefit product.

Please keep in mind...

The open enrollment period is your only opportunity to enroll, change, or cancel most of your benefit elections, unless you have a qualifying life event during the year. Examples of qualifying life events include:

  • Marriage

  • Birth or adoption of a child

  • Divorce

  • Change in employment (e.g., spouse or child gaining or losing employment, or your status changing from part time to full time)

If you experience one of these events and want to elect, change, or cancel your coverage, you must notify the Human Resources Department within 30 days of the event. Otherwise, you must wait until the next open enrollment for a January 1 effective date.

Special note - Feeling anxious, stressed, or overwhelmed? Our confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers free support from professional clinicians. Learn more about managing anxiety and other emotional concerns through the EAP [link to EAP information].

Effective July 1, 2022, regulations require the publication of machine-readable files for health insurance plans. Please click this link to access the current file for East Moline School District #37.
