East Moline School District values employees and takes pride in providing a comprehensive benefits package. This site will help you better understand the plans and programs available to you and your family. Whether you are single, married, raising a family, or thinking ahead to retirement, our benefits program offers you and your family resources for financial planning and personal wellness through all of life's stages. Please refer to the benefit menu for more detailed information regarding each employee benefit product.

Special note - EAP support for increased anxiety:  For anyone experiencing increased anxiety, fear or emotional stress surrounding the coronavirus outbreak, it may help to speak to a professional clinician through the district's employee assistance program (EAP).  Our EAP is confidential and free to use for all employees.  View the EAP tab or email Kasey to learn more about professional EAP support available

Please keep in mind...

The open enrollment period is your only opportunity to enroll, change, or cancel most of your benefit elections, unless you have a qualifying life event during the year. Examples of qualifying life events include:

  • Marriage

  • Birth or adoption of a child

  • Divorce

  • Change in employment (e.g., spouse or child gaining or losing employment, or your status changing from part time to full time)

If you experience one of these events and want to elect, change, or cancel your coverage, you must notify the Human Resources Department within 30 days of the event. Otherwise, you must wait until the next open enrollment for a January 1 effective date.
